This past Saturday I went to the Wizard Con, in Anaheim, California, which is a comic-book/sci-fi/fantasy convention. I entered their costume contest as, Count Mummenstein, a Mummy/Frankenstein hybrid who was also bitten by a vampire.
I won best costume, Zombie Division.
I felt a little badly, since many of the contestants had clearly spent decades crafting the perfect, Halo, Cat-Woman or Death Thing from Hellboy 2 costume. So I gave my prize to one of the dudes who lost. Seemed only right.
To be fair, wardrobe babes Alisha Silverstein and Lauren Kolodny made the costume.
But still, I think I brought a a winner’s vibe to the whole thing.
